The other day I was checking facebook and was appalled to find a posting
of a t-shirt for sale that had images of the soldiers on the gates with the
caption "Don't be a Sissi". I immediately messaged the person responsible
and informed him that the shirt was inappropriate and I did not approve of
the message and use of my intellectual property.
Just so you know, I have no bad feelings or ill will toward anyone, including
you. It is too bad that we had to get to this point to secure the bell from
vandalism and all of the emotional reactions around it. I look forward to
moving past this and getting back to working on the needs of our city.
