HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-20RESOLUTION NO.p2 [� A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, amending the Strategic Plan for the years 2019-2020. WHEREAS, the City Council, held a retreat on Friday December 7, 2018 dedicated to developing a 2 year strategic plan; and they passed a resolution adopting the strategic plan; and WHEREAS, on February 25, 2020, Council held a work session to discuss minor amendments to the 2019 - 2020 Strategic Plan; and WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan was developed to preserve long-term economic, ecological and social wellbeing while demonstrating innovative and desirable urban design principles; and WHEREAS, with the guidance of the 2-year plan Council wishes to build financial capacity to provide consistent, quality municipal services and infrastructure improvements; and WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan is meant to exemplify excellence in government and regional community leadership; and WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan directly supports the Comprehensive Plan and reflects the Vision for the Community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, that the City's 2019 - 2020 Strategic Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby adopted.
