MINUTES
1. Call to Order: Chair Kidd called the meeting to order at 7:30am.
2. Roll Call: Members Present: Chair Cherie Kidd, Vice Chair Mike French, Kevin
Gallacci, Kaj Ahlburg, April Bellerude, Kathy Estes, Noah Glaude, Judith Morris, Peter
Stolinsky. Guest Jessica Elliott, Director of the Fine Arts Center. Staff Present: Nathan
West, Allyson Brekke, Sherry Curran. Chair Kidd welcomed the group to the meeting.
3. Minutes from the May 9th, 2019 meeting were reviewed by the group.
Motion by Kaj Ahlburgh and seconded by Peter Stolinsky to approve the minutes. All in
favor.

5. New Business
a) Wayfinding Program Update (Final Design review,placement concept and
interpretive signage plan)
Director Brekke introduced the Tangram design team. George, Angela and Matthew
presented the following: project summary, wayfinding signage, sign location, and next
steps. Discussion included vehicular and pedestrian signage, wood posts, angular
signage. Next steps include sign locations, budgeting, engineer approval, finalize
drawings, and schedule implementation plan.
Additional comments included: restrooms and parking signage,breezeway, materials
designed to withstand age, signage to accommodate new development and changes, bike
paths and lockers, vehicle charging stations,project funded by lodging tax and
contributions in place. The committee viewed a full-size representation of signage.
Director Brekke invited all comments to be sent to her via email.
6. Ongoing Business: Kaj Ahlburgh requested ODT activities be added as a future agenda
item.
7. Public Comment: Jessica Elliott, Fine Arts Center, appreciated the committee's effort to
make movability within the City a priority. She suggested signage for Peninsula College,
Fine Arts Center, and biking trails.
No public comments.
