Right of Way Use Permit~ RUP 03-23
Dear Mike:
Prior to City approval of the permit application for overhead facilities, Wave shall
provide the following:
o A revised route map identifying existing overhead facilities to be over-
lashed, any facilities that you propose to abandon in place, and any
new construction (new pole contacts). Please indicate the type of
facilities being proposed (e.g. coaxial cable or fiber including strands).
Please also include a legend.
· All Institutional Network node enclosure locations where Wave's
equipment requires electrical power.
The criteria Wave and/o~' their Contractors must adhere to while upgrading the
CATV System within the city limits of Port Angeles are:
NESC clearance specifications for communications cable placement.
(Ref: Attachment OM 0 07)
The City may 'shut-down' construction for any NESC safety violations.
Any interim poles that may need to be set or replaced due to deficient
clearances will be the responsibility of Wave at Wave's expense.
Wave must set separate guys and anchors when installing
messengers.
Wave must address all tree issues.
Wave must install stand-off brackets for all conduit risers.
(Ref: Attachment CR 5 01)
· Wave shall maintain a minimum of one (1') foot separation between
any new facilities and existing underground electric cables.
