Dear Benji,
The City of Port Angeles Water Division's annual electrical block permit, issued by the City ofPort Angeles,
expires June 30,2021. The Port Angeles Municipal Code (PAMC) addressing electrical block permits states
that:

A frm, corporation, or other entity which has a regularly employed electrical maintenance staff,
which is exempted from the requirement to haye an electrician certificate ofcompetency by
RCW 19.28.091, may choose to purchase a $1 154.50 bi-annual electrical work permit for work done
by in-house electrical personnel rather than a work permit for each installation, or alteration in
accordance with the section. Work done by conlractors shall not be included in this block pennit.
The inspector will track work requested under the block permit until $i 154.50 worth offees is
reached, a1ler which additional fees will be charged. Additional fees will be based on the published
fee schedule in Port Angeles Mumcipal Code 13.12.100.
On October 18, 2011, the City Council adopted the new electrical permit fees with an effective date of
January l, 2012. Thcse new fees, which are less than those ofthe Department ofLabor and [ndustries,
provide for full cost recovery of service. Billing cycles are as follows:
