Re; Cedar Hills Trailer Park
I am embarrased by the problems which have arisen
in connection with the proposed modification of the septic
tank system here. I did not realize at all where the lines
were until after the Survey was completed. The mobile homes
were in place prior to my son's purchase of the property,
and I was not aware of the boundaries.
It now turns out that we cannot utilize either of
the plans which we were working on, due to the boundaries of
the property. In checking with the City, it looks like a
long time before we can get annexation thru, and I do not
want another Melody Lane situation to arise.
I have a plan which I think will be agreeable, and
give us enough roomfor a large drainfield which will be all
on our own property. There is a mobile home on the westerly
spot in the park, as shown by my sketch attached. If we were
to move this over to the East about 25 feet to the presently
vacant spot, we would then have about a 20 foot wide area
along the entire west boundary of the rpoperty. We could
block this off by logs or barricades to be certain that no
vehicle traffic came onto the drainfield.
Rest assured, I am as anxious as anyone else to do
this right so that we will not have future problems. I
believe that such a program would work out OK. I will check
with you in a few days to get your reaction.
