APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES:Commissioner Forestmoved to approve October 20, 2022 and November 12, 2022 minutes. Commissioner McGuireseconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. None. LATE ITEMS: PUBLIC COMMENT: 1.Karen Robinson: Port Angeles resident Karen Robinson discussed her opinions with the organization “Food Not Bombs” in Jesse Webster Park. Specifically, her frustrations with a needle exchange. The bid was awarded to Neeley Construction and was $110,00 under engineers estimate. 6.Shane Park Tiles: The Shane Park tile reinstallation has been postponed due to weather. 7.24-Hour Restrooms: Two of the three 24-hour restrooms have been installedby the downtown breezeway and are open to the public. The third is expected to be installed and opened by December 16, 2022. 8.Volunteer Field Turf Design: The 60% design will be completed soon. Director Delikat and will be schedulinga presentation by the companyat a future meeting. 9.Washington State Volunteer of the Year Award: Sean Coleman was awarded Washington State Volunteer of the Year. 10.Student Representative: Parks, Recreation & Beautification Commission is still looking for Student Representative.
