HomeMy WebLinkAbout19-24 RESOLUTION NO. / q c2 / A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, amending in part the City of Port Angeles Master Fee Schedule. WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles charges various fees for services, permits, licenses, and other costs; and WHEREAS, the Port Angeles Municipal Code section 1.25.010 states that except when otherwise stated, any fee or charge due or referenced in the PAMC will be set forth in the City's master fee schedule; and WHEREAS,it is in the best interest of the City government to periodically update and revise its fee structure to ensure the financial resources to support City services; and WHEREAS, the attached amendments to the fee schedule are appropriate to sustain an efficient and effective permitting and inspection system. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles that: Section 1. — Master Fee Schedule. The Master Fee Schedule of the City of Port Angeles is amended in part as set forth in Exhibit A. Section 2. - Corrections. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this resolution are authorized to make necessary corrections to this resolution including, but not limited to, the correction of the scrivener's/clerical errors, references to other local, state, or federal laws, codes, rules or regulations,or numbering,section/subsection numbers and any references thereto. 1 Section 3.-Effective Date. This Resolution,being an exercise of a power specifically delegated to the City legislative body,is not subject to referendum. This resolution shall take effect on January 1,2025, upon the publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the title.
