We have checked this plan and find that it conforms to the requirements of our codes and
ordinances, with the following comments:
1) The plans do not indicate a location for trash receptacles outside. If a dumpster is to be used,
it may not be placed within 5' of combustible construction.
2) The plans do not indicate the location of fire extinguishers. Two (2) 2A-I OBC fire
extinguishers are required to be provided and mounted. One is to be located on the second floor
and one is to be located on the first floor adjacent to the main entry. Extinguishers must be
readily accessible and mounted with the tops no more than 5' off the floor.
The elevator code also requires that a fire extinguisher be located in the elevator machinery
room.
3) If the floor plan changed and the occupant load on the second floor exceeded 10 persons, a
second exit from the second floor would be required.
4) Address numbers for the building must be placed in a readily visible location. Numbers must
be of a contrasting color from their background.
NOTE:
Prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy, compliance with the above
conditions must be met.

service wires in conduit from the power pole to the building and/or

5) Excavated material shall be placed no closer than two (2) feet from the

I Broadband for installation of their equipment. They may share the
trench with the electrical facilities.
7) Providing and installing a thirteen (13) terminal'meterbase from the
Circle AW Catalog No. 121413 or equal with room for a test switch.
The current transformer may be built into the switchgear. Install a one
(1) inch conduit from the switchgear to the meterbase for CT wiring.
8) All lighting inside the development is at the owner's discretion and
expense. '
9) All required permits. (Trenching in the R1W, Building, Electrical, etc.)
10) Payment of $ 7,265.00. ,
The City will be responsible for the following:
1) Providing and setting the pole.
, 2) Providing and installing the transformers, meters and CT's.
3) Attaching the top portion of the service wires and terminating the
service cables. .
Because this is a commercial construction, the Electric Service Connection Fee
does not apply.
If the actual cost of construction exceeds the estimated amount, there will be no
further billing. If the actual cost is less than the estimate, the difference will be
refunded to you.
Payment of the estimated amount will authorize the City to schedule the work. If
