Your support will enable NOBaS to host the Cal Ripken State Toumament here in Port Angeles that will not only benefit baseball participants but our entire Port Angeles community. The City of Port Angeles deeply values the investment in the youth in our community. Community resilience is a key focus area as part of the City Council's 2025-2026 Strategic Plan, intending to improve community health and invest in upgrades to youth field facilities. The City is committed to equipping the children in our community with the best experience possible in youth sports. NOBaS supports that goal by providing teams for boys ages 4-12 and girls ages 4- 76, all thanks to the incredible effort of volunteers in the organization. In addition to supporting our local youth, this grant will dramatically help our community's economic activity by allowing Port Angeles to host a state toumament. This will bring a large influx of overnight visitors from all over the State of Washington giving our community a spur of economic activity. This gives the players and families a unique opportunity to showcase the Port Angeles community that would otherwise not happen due to the remoteness of our area. On behalf of the Port Angeles City Council, we are confident that NOBaS will facilitate a successful state tournament resulting in a positive economic impact on Port Angeles. It is with great pleasure we recommend North Olympic Baseball & Softball's application to be considered in receiving funding. Sincerely Dexter, Mayor City of Port Angeles
