PROJECT A (HEALTH AND SAFETY REPAIRS)
0600 *l)Kitchen: Install new cabinet decking and plastic laminate
counter top and back splash to match existing configuration.
Include re-installation of existing sink.
*2)Main bathroom: Install new decking and plastic laminate
countertop and backsplash to match existing configuration.
0800 *l)Rear utility entry: Install a new keyed lock and deadbolt
on the existing entry door.
*2)NW bedroom: Modify the window opening on the north wall
and install a new vinyl framed slideby egress window with
insulating glass. Trim and finish the interior and exterior.
Homeowner to stain and finish or paint the trim.
*3)Upper east bedroom: Modify the window opening on the
east wall and install a new vinyl framed slideby egress
window with insulating glass. Trim and finish the interior
and exterior. Homeowner to stain and finish or paint the
trim.
*4)Upper West bedroom: Modify the window opening on the

*7)Upper west bedroom and closet: Install new pad and
carpet.
*S)Upper east bedroom and closet: Install new pad and
carpet.
Note: Homeowner to remove and dispose of all floor covering
(carpet and vinyl). Floor covering allowance is $17 per
square yard for carpet and pad and $16 per square yard
for vinyl.
*9)Hain bathroom: Sheetrock, tape, finish, and make ready
for paint the wall and ceiling areas. Include water
resistant concrete wall board in the tub area. Homeowner to
complete painting.
*10)Rear hallway bathroom: Sheetrock, tape, finish and make
ready for paint the wall and ceiling areas. Include water
resistant concrete wall board in the tub area. Homeowner to
complete painting.
*ll)Upper west bedroom: Sheetrock, tape, texture, finish and
make ready for paint the ceiling area. Homeowner to complete
painting.
*12)Upper east bedroom: Sheetrock, tape, texture, finish and
make ready for paint the ceiling area. Homeowner to complete
painting.

*13)Upper hallway and stair areas: Sheetrock, tape, texture,
finish and make ready for paint the wall and ceiling areas.

*14)Main bathroom: Install new 3-piece fiberglass or
plastic laminate tub wrap with soap dish and safety hand
grab.
1500 *l)Rear hallway bathroom: Install a new pedestal sink/faucet
package.

*4)Main bathroom: Install a new vanity sink and faucet.
1600 *l)Kitchen: Replace existing outlets near the sink with GFCI
protected outlets.
*2)Install new 200 amp service complete. Include updating
and safe-up of fuse panel located in the garage.
*3)Utility room: Insure that the water heater is properly
wired.
*4)Safe up the wiring, outlets, fixtures, connections, and
junction boxes throughout the house. Insure that service
panel is properly labeled, grounded and wired. All switches,
outlets, connections, and fixtures to have proper junction
boxes. All 3-prong outlets to be properly grounded and all
other outlets to have proper polarity.
*5)Main bathroom: Install a new GFCI outlet near the sink to
replace the existing outlet.
*6)Install new hardwired/inter-tied smoke alarms with
battery backup throughout the house to code.
*7)Upper hallway/stairway: Install a cover plate on the
junction box located on the east wall over the stairs.
*8)Upper hallway area: Remove the existing wall mount light
fixture and close off the junction box.
*9)Garage: Properly wire the existing florescent ceiling
light.
*10)Kitchen: Install a new separate circuit and outlet for
the microwave oven.

1700 *l)Living room: Repair/safe-up fireplace chimney. Include
chimney clean-out and repoint and cap the chimney top.
PROJECT B (ENERGY CONSERVATION)
0800 *l)Rear hallway bathroom: Install a new vinyl framed slideby
window with insulating obscured glass on the east wall. Trim
and finish the interior and exterior. Homeowner to stain and
finish or paint the door and trim.
*2)Kitchen: Install a new vinyl framed casement window with
insulating glass on the south wall, to replace the existing
jealousy window. Trim and finish the interior and exterior.
Homeowner to stain and finish or paint the trim.
*3)Upper West bedroom: Install a new vinyl framed slideby
window with insulating glass on the north wall. Trim and
finish the interior and exterior. Homeowner to stain and
finish or paint the trim.
*4)Upper east bedroom: Install a new vinyl framed slideby
window with insulating glass on the north wall. Trim and
finish the interior and exterior. Homeowner to stain and
finish or paint the trim.
*S)Lower family/bedroom area: Install a new vinyl framed
replacement sliding patio door with insulating glass. Trim
and finish the interior and exterior. Homeowner to stain and
finish or paint the trim.
*6)Lower family/bedroom area: Install a new vinyl framed
slideby window with insulating glass on the east wall. Trim
and finish the interior and exterior. Homeowner to stain and
finish or paint the trim.
