SUBJECT: Underground power extension to 1776 Woodhaven Lane
Dear Mr. Campbell:
Pat from Olympic Wiring, Inc. has informed me that your intent is to subdivide your lot on
Woodhaven Lane in the future and would prefer to have your eIectricai source closer to your
new construction. The estimated cost to install approximately 200 feet of secondary cable in
conduit and a secondarypedestal is $1,900.00.
The City will be responsible for the installation of conduit, cable and the pedestal.
Your contractor will be responsible for the following:
1. Surveying and staking of the property line along Woodhaven Lane.
2. Bringing area for the trench and pedestal to fnal grade.
3. Providing trenching, backfill and compaction as follows:
Secondary trench 24 inches wide, 33 inches deep, approximately 200 feet iri
length. Trenching must meet the requirements of WAC Chapter 296-I SSN
Excavation. Trenching and Shoring. All excavated material will be placed no
closer than two (2) feet from the edge of the excavation and any excavation
over four (4) feet in depth will require shoring.
4. Coordination with Wave Broadband, Qwest Communications and Capacity
Provisioning, Inc. for the installation of their equipment. They may share the trench
���ith the electrical cable a:�a cor.c�uit.
5. An easement for the location of the electrical facilities. An easement form will be
provided for a notarized signature after the final location of the cable and pedestal has
been determined.
6. Permit for digging in the right-of-way if the trench is not on private property.
7. Payment of the estimated amount of $1,900.00. Please use the attached payment form.

Installation and future maintenance of the underground service wire in conduit from the
pedestal to the meter base is the responsibility of the home owners. The connection fee of
$713.00 may be paid with the purchase of the electrical permit.
Iristallation may begin in five weeks after completion of the above items. This time is
required by Engineering to complete the work order and for Operations to schedule the
construction.
If the actual cost of construction is more than the estimated payed amount, there will be no
further billing. If the cost is less, the difference will be refunded.
