Dear John
We have looked at your plumbing problems in the bath area of your apartment. It Iooks like the plumbing
is failing because of it's age. This is a problem that will only worsen with time. It is also a problem that
will substaintlly impair your enjoyment of the apartment if we let it go. We fill that the best solution to the
problem is to rebuild the bath from scratch. This will render the bath useless, impairing your enjoyment of
the apartment, for an extended length of time.
We would like to give you notice, in accordance with the lease, that we are ending the lease to work on the
bath. The notice that the lease requires is 30 days. I'm not sure if we can patch something together that will
last for 30 days, having a dysfunctional bath for 30 days is a problem. I would like to offer assistance m
helping you move sooner I am willing to forgive any moneys that you may owe us at this time and return
the portion of the deposit ($300.00) you paid when you move out.
I do appreciate that you have been honest in your dealings with me and shown concern for the other tenants.
I'll check with the Housing Resource Center and see if they can provide additional support for you.
