We have reviewed the two shear walls we talked to us about on the 6 of
December
The first wall was shear wall D at the lower level The footing was removed at
the west end for about two feet. We have recalculated the wall and now show it
being only 14' -0 long
The second wall that we needed to make some revisions to was wall 'E' The
original wall E was located at the existing crawl space access and the wall also
has all the house electrical wires running through it. We have relocated shear
wall E to the wall just north of the stairs We will need to have a footing placed
under this wall with a pony wall to the existing floor system The shear wall call
out has changed to be a number six, and the hold downs are now Simpson
PHD5 -SDS3
The attached shear wall calculations now show these revisions Please contact
