G 7 AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 86, created under Ordinance No. 849, approved October 6th, 1920, which ordered and provided for the improvement of Oak Street in the City of Port Angeles, from the North Margin of First Street, to the South Margin of Front Street, all in accordance with Resolution No. 86, and plans and specifications adopted by the then City Council of the City of Port Angeles; Ordering the levy and collection of said assessments, and creating and establishing a special fund for said District No. 88, THE CITY COMMISSION of the City of Port Angeles, Do Ordain as follows: Section 1, That the assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 88, created by Ordinance No, 649, approved October 6th, 1920, which ordered and provided for the improvement of Oak Street in the City of Port Angeles, from the North Margin of First Street, to the South Margin of Front Street, by removing old planking, replacing and removing wooden aide walks, removing all lumber of any description from the embankment, bringing subgrade of roa6way to the proper grade level, excavating, leveling, drains, storm and sanitary sewers, concrete retaining walla, concrete curbs, concrete gutters, concrete roadway forty - two feet wide, nine inchee thick, and such other work necessary in connection therewith to properly carry out the construction of the improvement, all in accordance with Resolution no. 86, ana the plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer, filed with the City Clerk, and approved and adopted by the then City Council, as said assessment roll now stands and which was regul- arly heard and sully considered by the City Commission sitting as a Board of Equalization thereon on the 2nd day of March, 1921, according to regular notice thereof and according to law, and the • ordinances of said City, and in accordance with the findings and order of said Board of Equalization at said meeting in said City, be and the same are hereby, in all respects, approved and confirmed in all things, Section 2. That each lot, tract or parcel of land shown upon said assessment roll is hereby declared to be especially benefitted by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing on said assessment roll, and there is hereby levied and assessed against each said lot, tract or parcel of land appearing on said ro11, the amount actually charged and assessed against the same, Section 3, That there is hereby created and established for said Local Improvement District No 86, a special fund to be known and designated as Local improvement Didtrict so. 86, for the uses and purposes provided by law and ordinances of the City. Section 4. Said assessments or any of theca may be paid without interest at any time within thirty (30) days from the date of the first publication of the City Treasurer's notice to pay the same as required by law to be given, and all assessments not paid within said thirty (30) day period shall thereaftdr be paid in ten equal annual installments with interest thereon at the rate of seven (7) per cent per annum. Section 5, That immediately upon the taking effect of this ordinance said•aeseasment roll shall be turned over to the City Treasurer for the collection of said first annual installment, who will thereupon proceed to collect the same according to law, Section 8..
