THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section ## 1. That section 68 of Ordinance go. 665, entitled "An Ordinance relating to the use of the public highways and all other olaces in the City of Port Angeles open to the public for the use of vehicles; providing # ## a penalty for the violation thereof, and repealing all other ordinances and parts of ordinances in relation thereto, and declar- ing an emergency ", approved January 28th, 1921; as amended by Ordinance No. 688, approved May 5th, 1921, be and is hereby further amended to read as follows: Section 68. Hereafter it shall be unlawful for any person at an time to park or stand a vehicle On Front Street , between Lincoln Street and Oak Street; On the West side of Laurel Street, North of First Street; On the East side of Laurel Street, between Front Street and Railroad Avenue, excepting for -hire cars and for -hire trucks; On Lincoln Street, between Front Street and Third Street; On Oak Street, between Front Street and First Street; On Third Street North, West of the East end of the bridge; On any portion of the Spit Road; Provided, however, that vehicles may stand on the said portions of said streets for a period not to exceed one hour; and provided, fur - ther, that the said East side of Laurel Street between Front Street and Railroad Avenue be and is hereby reserved for the parking of for -hire cars and for -hire trucks. • It shall be lawful to park vehicles on the South side of OM First Street, between Lincoln Street and Valley Street, except that por- tion thereof immediately in front of the Lincoln +heatre, }}nited States Post Office, the @ity Fire Department Building, and the space reserved for physcian's and Surgeon's cars; On either side of Front Street, between Oak Street and Palley • Street; On either side of Cherry Street, between First Street and the North terminus of said bherry Street; On the East Side of Lincoln Street, between Third Street and the 41/South terminus of said Lincoln Street; It shall be unlawful to park vehicles on the opposite sides of said portions of said streets ; provided, however, that vehicles may park between the hours of 6:30'. M. and 3:00 A. M. of the following day, on n The South side of Front Street; - The West side of Laurel Street; The West side of Oak Street; and ti The West side of Lincoln Street, between Front Street and First Street. Provided further, it shall be unlawful to stand any vehicle on any of the said streets,in this paragraph described, for a period longer than one hour. Sectmon 2. This ordinance is declared to be urgent and necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, approval and publication. Passed first reading by the City Commission June 28th, 1922. Passed second reading by the 6ity Commission Passed third reading and adopted by the City Commission , 1922.
