THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS • FOLLOWS: That Section IV of Ordinance No. 682 of the City of Fort Angeles, entitled An Ordinance licensing certain businesses, callings, trades, employments, games, amusements, entertainments or exhibitions within the City of Port Angeles, for the purposes of regulation; im- posing an occupation tax; providing for the collection of license fees; for the suspension and revocation of licenses issued under authority of this ordinance; providing penalties for the violation of any of the terms and provisions of this ordinance and repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances relating to the manner and form of applying for and grant- ing of said licenses, the manner and form in which the same may be issued, the suspension and revocation thereof, which are in conflict with the terms and provisions of this Ordinance on the same subjects, be and the same is hereby amended in the manner following, to wit: Section I. Hereafter all licenses required to be paid to the City of Port Angeles by Section IV of Ordinance No. 682, shall become due 0 and be paid upon the first business day of each and every calendar year for the current year, upon application to be filed with the City Clerk. Section II. For all annual licenses provided for in the said Section 4 of Ordinance No. 682 issued after the first day of July of each year hereafter one -half of the amount prescribed by the said sec- tion of ordinance shall be charged for the balance of the current year. Section III. Excepting as herein amended the said section of the said ordinance No. 682, shall remain in full force and effect. Section IV. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect after its passage and approval, and from and after thirty days after its lawful publication.
