ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE providing for the acquisition of certain
water pipe and pipe fittings for the maintenance of the water sys-
tem of the City of Port Angeles,
77HEREAS, that at the time of the completion of the con-
tract between the City of Port Angeles and gorse -a ley Co., certain
pipe and pipe fittings were acquired by the contractors and left on
hand on the 26th day of March, 1926, on which day an invoice was
prepared by the said contractors covering the said material, and
the same was delivered to the Water Department of the City of Port
Angeles for an agreed purchase price of X51111.76;
7HEREAS, the said pipe and pipe fittings are necessary
and suitable for the proper maintenance of the water system by the
"later Department;
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Port Angeles, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to en-
ter into a contract with P.orse -Wiley Co.,for the purchase by the
City of Port Angeles of the said Pipe and pipe fittings, shown on
the invoice of March 26, 1926, rendered to the City Water Department
by the said contractors for the sum of $1111.76; payment of said sum
All • .t o be made by six warrants drawn upon and payable out of the outer
fund of the City of Port Angeles,' five of said warrants be-
ing in the sum of two hundred dollars (8200.00); the first of which

shall be payable on the A 20= day of ti, 1926, and the other five
warrants being payable on the 26th day of March of each and every
year thereafter up to and including the year 1931, and the warrant
to fall due on March 26, 1931, shall be payable in the sum of -$111.76,
• all of said warrants to bear interest at the rate of six per cent
per annum from the ael 'day of titA4,17ILN , 1926.
