AN ORDINANCE confirming the estimate of expenditures for the City of Port Angeles for the year 1927, and fixing tax levies for said year 1927 as heretofore made and levied by the City Commission meeting and sitting for that purpose on the 4th day of October, 1926. That the estimate of expenditures for the levy of taxes made by the City Commission sitting as a body for that pur- pose on the 4th day of October, 1926, be and the same is hereby con- firmed, and there is hereby fixed and levied for the City and its districts for the year 1927, upon all property, both real and per- sonal, subject to taxation for the several funds shown herein, and uvon each and every dollar of the assessed valuation thereof, as shown by the records of assessments in the office of the County As- sessor in and for Clallam County, % ashington, to wit: District No. I. Sinking Fund, Dist. No. 1 5.20 mills $ 8,340.63 .'.'unicipal Bond Interest, Dist.No.1.1.50 mills 2,405.95 Library Fund 1 70 mills 2,726.74 Park Fund 1 00 mills 1,603.96 Current Expense Fund 18 00 mills 28,871.44 Total 27 40 mills $43,948.72 District 1:o. 2. Library fund 1 70 mills i3 1,984.56 Park Fund 1 00 mills 3,373.76 Current Expense Fund 18 00 mills 35,722.17 Total 20 70 mills $41,080.49 Section II. That all said taxes are necessary levies and needed to raise sufficient revenue to maintain said City, its dis- tricts, and several departments for the year 1927, commencing Jan- uary 1, and ending December 31, 1927, and said taxes are hereby lev- ied proportionately in said city and each said district respective- ly in accordance with their joint and several needs and liabilities, as shown upon the assessment roll of said Clallam County, as finally fixed and equalized by the Board of Equalization of said County:and State and extended upon the assessment rolls of said County, snoring the property within said City subject to taxation for municipal pur- poses as therein certified by the County Assessor of said County ac- cording; to law. Section III. There is urgent necessity and emergency for the passage and adoption and taking effect of this ordinance for the im- mediate preservation of the public peace, Health and safety, which urgency and emergency is now hereby stated and declared. Now, there- fore, this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ef- fect from and after and immediately upon its passage, approval and lawful publication. Passed first reading by the City Commission, October 20, 1926. Passed second reading by the City Commission, October ,2-1, 1926. Passed third reading and adopted by the City Commission, October 9-1, 1926. Approved and signed by the Mayor this Z1 day of October, 1926.
