Street, and running thence easterly to and emptying into Tumwater Creek in front of Block 97 in the Townsite of Port Angeles; creating Loci, Improvement District No. 126; and providing for the pay- ment of the cost and expense thereof by special assessments upon the pro- perty within the said district according to lave and by the mode of "Imme- • diate payment ", all in accordance with improvement resolution No. 126 of the City of Port Angeles, and in accordance with maps, plans and specifi- cations prepared by the City Engineer and approved and adopted by. the City Commission. THE CITY COMMISSION OF '11ft CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOVIS: Section 1. Tfi. sbeszr4' »rater .- k -n�Ice Jf sewer in the alley running through Block 2O5beginning approximately ^at MK in said Block 205; and running thence westerly a distance of approximately 375 feet to a point to connect with the existing sewer running through the alley between Sixth and Seventh Streets in the City of Port Angeles; also a lateral sewer in Second Street beginning at a point approximately 375 feet west of the westerly margin of Tumwater Street, and running thence easterly to and emptying into Tum- • • water Creek in front of Block "9'7 in the Townsite of Port Angeles. All Of said improvement to be done in accordance with maps, plans and specifica- tions prepared by the City Engineer and adopted and approved by the City Commission, and in accordance with Improvement Resolution No. 126 of the City of Port Angeles. Section II. That the cost and expense of said improvement in- cluding all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by and as- sessed against the property situated and included within the boundaries of the district hereinafter created and described, in accordance with law and the ordinances of the City of Port Angeles; and the City of Port An- geles shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of said cost and expense of'said improvement, except in so far as the said City is made liable by virtue of the statutes of the State of Washington in such oases made and provided. Section III. That there is hereby created a local improvement district to be called Local Improvement District No. 126, which said dis- trict is described as follows, to wit: The property abutting upon, proxi- mate, vicinal, adjacent and contiguous to the above described portions of Block 205 and the southerly margin of the said portion of Second Street, and abutting upon, vicinal and adjacent to the said improvement, and to a distance back from the marginal lines thereof according to law. Section IV. That the said assessments shall be defrayed and paid by the mode of "immediate payment" as defined by la* and the ordin- ances of the City of Port Angeles, Washington. Section V. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force after its passage and approval, and from and after five days after its lawful publication. Passed first reading by the City Commission, January 2, 1929. Passed second reading by the City Commission, January 9, 1929.
