AN ORDINANCE fixing the salaries, compensation and wages of
! certain officers and employees of the City of Port Angeles, Washington.
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS
•
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. On-and after, and as of January., 1929, the sal-
aries, compensation and' wages of the following named officers and em-
ployees of the City of Port An$eles shal..be,and. are now hereby fixed as
follows:
City Clerk . $175.00 1
City Treasurer 175,00
City Attorney 200.00 i
City Engineer 250.00 "
Police Judge 80.00 V'

Health Officer 3500
Sanitary Inspector 35.00 e
Chief of Police 175.00
Patrolmen 140.00
Police Matron 25.00
Street Superintendent 150.00
Fire Chief 175.00 V

Drivers . . . . . . 140.00
Light Superintendent (provided, however, that the said
salary shall be effective only from, after and as
of January 15, 1929) 250.00

Section 2. All of saidsalaries, compensation and wages shall
be paid monthly.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
. Section 4. This ordinance is declared to be urgent'and neces-
sary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safe-
ty of the inhabitants and people of said City of Port.Angeles, and shall
take effect and be in force immediately upon and from and after its pass-
age, approval and lawful publication.
Passed first reading by the City Commission, January 9, 1929.
Passed second reading by the City Commission, January 16, 1929.
Passed third reading and finally passed and adopted by the
City Commission, January 16, 1929.
