THE CITY COMMI S$IOxOF THE CITY OF. PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That pursuant to an application in that behalf filed by the Port Angeles. City Dock Company, a corporation,and'pur- suant to notice thereof given by'publication in the official news- paper of the city of Port Angeles on the 29th day of August, 1929 and it appearing to the pity Commission that the. said applicant, Port Angeles City Dock Company is the owner of all the land abutting. upon the margin, of that portion of Oak Street herein described, therefore the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and empower- ed to execute on behalf of the City of Port Angeles a lease to the. Port Angeles City Dock Company for a period of fifteen (15) years from the 15th day of September '1929, covering that portion, of Oak Street from the water front bulk head heretofore constructed by the City across Oak Street northerly to the northerly margin of the present dock or wharf ofthe said Pert Angeles City Dock Company, as the same is now constructed and maintained for the purpose of main- taining, improving and operating a dock or wharf and warehouse for the handling, loading. and unloading, shipping. storing of goods, wares and merchandise, and for the further purpose of providing facilities for the United States Coast Guard and for all purposes and uses incidental . thereto, at the annual rental, of ten dollars ($10.00) payable in advance upon the 15th day of September of each year during the term hereof; provided however, that the - rental to . be paid for the said portion of Oak Street shall be adjusted between the lessee and the City of Port Angeles at the expiration of each and every five (5) year period as provided by the statutes of the State of Washington. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force, after its passage and approval and from and after thirty (30) days after its lawful publication.
