Quarantine signs 18.05• 105.00 12.00. 324.45 39.9.x. 27.00 35.55 Total Current Expense 543.96 PARK FUND Park Department, - Industrial Insurance Hardware and tools Total Park Fund 35.00 5.00 40.00 ORDINANCE NO. %D AN ORDINANCE stating facto constituting an emergency affecting the public health and safety, and public interest; re- quiring expenditures not foreseen; declaring such emergency to exist and fixing the amount required to provide therefor and the issuance of warrants- •againet-proper funds,.and declaring an emer- gency for the adoption of this ordinance. THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELED DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Because of unexpected requirements in print- ing ordinances for the control of taverns, traffic and other public printing, the unforseen and unexpected consumption of motor fuel in the Police and Fire Departments, and requirements for payment of In- • duetrial Insurance on 'account of labor in the parka in the purchase . of certain supplies, the amounts provided in teB current expense and park board budgets is not sufficient and the amount required for said items, over and above the amounts available in the respective f funds, is as follows. Current expense $ 543.96 Park $ 40.00 That said matters all directly affect the public health and safety and the protection of city employees, and the require- mente could not reasonably have been foreseen when preparing the budget. Section 2. That by reason of the facts stated an emergency- is hereby declared to exist. Section 3. That the Mayor and City (perk be and they are hereby authorized to sign, execute, issue and deliver emergency warrants upon and payable out of the Current Expense Fund and also the Park Board Fund for such expenditures, the said emergency war- rants on said funds being not to exceed the sums mentioned in c: eeetion?. hereof. Section 4. That by reason of the facts etated above, the immediate passage of this ordinance is urgent and necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety of • the inhabitants of the City, which emergency is declared to exist and that therefore this ordinance shall take effect and be in force' from °and -after °it-s °passage- and lawful publicat ion.
