ORDINANCE NO. 1036
1 . AN ORDINANCE stating facts constituting an emergency, requiring ex-
2 penditures which could not re5sonably have been foreseen at the time of making
3 the budget; declaring an emergency and providing for the issuance of emergency
4 warrants.
5 THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: I

Section 1. That because the roof of the Port Angeles Public Library
7 1 building is in need of immediate repair; and because the repairs to said roof
8 were not and could not have been anticipated at the time of preparing the budget
9 for the library fund, the amount provided for the library fund is not sufficient
10 and the amount required in excess of the funds available is the sum of Two
11 ; Hundred Dollars 4200.00).

Section 2. That the expenditures to be made in excess of the amount
13 of the budget are to meet the actual necessary expenditures of the Port Angeles I
14 Public Library for which no appropriation has been made due to causes which could
IS . not reasonably have been foreseen at the time of the making of the budget.

Section 3. That by reason of the facts stated an emergency is hereby
17 declared to exist which will require the issuance of emergency warrants to provide,
18 for the said expenditures in the amount above stated.

Section 4. Thht the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
20 i execute, sign and deliver emergency warrants upon the library fund for the re-
21 I quired expenditures not to exceed the sum mentioned in Section 1 hereof.
22 Section 5. That because of the facts, the adoption of this Ordinance
23 i is urgent and necessary and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
24 from and after its passage, approval and lawful publication.

28 fission March 31, 1937.
