1 An Ordinance fixing the salaries, compensation and wages
2 of certain officers and employees of the City of Port Angeles,

4 j THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELS$ DOES
5 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
6 Seotion 1. On and after, and as of January 1, 1938, the
7 salaries, compensation and wages of the following named officers
8 1 and employees of the City of Port Angeles shall be and are now
• 9 hereby fixed as follows:
10 ! Treasurer 185,00
11 Clerk 185.00
12 Engineer 225.00
13 Attorney 185,00
14 Police Judge 75,00
15 Chief of Police 185.00
16 Police Patrolmen, each regular 150.00
17 let year service 125.00
18 1 Chief of Fire Department 185.00
19 i 1st Assistant Chief of Fire Department 150.00
• 20 2nd Assistant Chief of Fire Department 150.00
21 Firemen, each regular 150.00
22 1st year service 125.00
23 Janitor at City Hall 30.00
24 Library Department:

Section 2. All of said salaries, oompensations, and wages
15 shall be paid monthly.
16 Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
17 conflict therewith are hereby repealed.
18 Section 4. This ordinance is declared to be urgent: and 1
19 necessary for the immediate preservation of the publio peeve, health,
• 20 and safety of the inhabitants and people of said City of Port f,
21 Angeles, and shall take effect and be in force immediately upon and
• 22 from and after its passage, approved and lawful publication.
23 Passed first reading by the City Commission January' 19, 1938
24 Passed second reading by the City Commission-January-19,
25 1938.
26 Passed third reading and finally passed and adopted by
27 the City Commission JaUU try' 2F, 1938.
28 Approved and signed by the Mayor January 26, 1938.
