1 : An Ordinance amending Sections 1 and 4 of Ordinance No. 874, being
2 , an ordinance providing for the regulation, housing and operation of dry cleaning
3 1 plants within the city limits of the City of Port Angeles, and providing for a
• 4 license fee for the operation thereof, and fixing penalties for the violation
5 thereof.
6 THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS F0LL0 7IS:
7 Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 874 be and the same is
8 hereby amended to read as follows:
• 9 "Section 1. The term "Dry Cleaning Plant" as hereinafter
10 used shall be construed to mean any place where clothing or
11 fabrics shall he cleaned for hire by the use of petroleum or
12 any petroleum product, or any chemical or combination of chemicals."
13 Section 2. That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 874 be and the same is here -
14 by emended to read as follows:
15 "Section 4. Every dry cleaning plant within the city limits
16 of the City of Port Angeles shall be housed in a building con -
17 strutted with fire -proof walls, provided however, that this section
18 shall not apply to dry cleaning establishments already in existence
19 and being maintained and operated in other than fire -proof buildings
• 20 at the present time; and provided further that no new or additional
21 dry cleaning establishment shall be operated within what is known
Z2 as the First Building District, the boundaries of which are establish -
23 ed in Ordinance No. 898 of the City of Port Angeles,"

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force after its
• 25
passage and approvil and from and after thirty days after its lawful publication.
