ORDINANCE NO. 1050
nn ordinance stating facts constituting t.n emergency, requiring
2 expenditures which could not reasonably have been frseen at the time of raking
3 the budget; declaring an emergency and providing for the issuance of emerTency
4 warrants.

7 Section 1. Thrt because of the small amount of .lnace in the offices

of the Police Department making it impossible to install the radio equipment pro- -
9 vided for the said deaf - rtment, and making it necessary to enlarge the offices of '
10 the Po ice Department; and bec use the said existirs cc ^ditie' was not and could
11 not have been anticip 'ted at the time of preparing the budget for the Current
12 F Expense Fund, the ar ourt provided for the Current Fx1ense Fund is not :sufficient
13 ' and the amount re4uired in excess of the amount available is the sum of 4350.00.
14 Section ... That the expenditures to be made in excess of the amount
15 of the budget, are to meet the actual necessar "" expenditures for the City Hell

17 have been foresfen at the time of the making of the budget.
18 Section 3. That by reason of the facts stated an emergency is here-
19 by declared to exist which will require the issuance of emergency warrants to
20 j provide for the said expenditures in the amount above stated.
21 Section 4. Th t the Llayor and City C1erIc are hereby authorized to
22 j execute, sign and deliver emergenoytrants upon the Current Expense Fund for the
23 1 reiuired expenditures not to exceed the sum mentioned in Section 1, hereof.
24 Section 5. That bect.-r'e of tre facts, the adoption of the ordinance
25 is urarnt and necessary and this ordinance shL11 tc.ke effect and be in force fro-,
