ORDINANCE NO. 1059
1 AN ORDINANCE fixing the salaries, compensation and wages of certain officers
2 and employees of the City of Port Angeles, Washington:
3 THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
4 Section 1. On and after, and as of January 1, 1939, the salaries, compensa --
5 tion and wages of the following named officers and employees of the City of Port
6 Angeles shall be and are now hereby fixed as follows:
7 Treasurer's Department:
8 Treasurer 185.00
III9 2 Deputy Treasurers, each 145.00
10 1 Collector 120.00
11 Clerk's Department:

Section 2. All of said salaries, compensations and wages shall be paid
2 monthly.
3 Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict therewith
4 are hereby repealed.
5 Section 4. This ordinance is declared to be urgent and necessary for the

6 immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the inhabitants

and people of said City of Port Angeles, and shall take effect and be in force j
immediately upon and from and after its passage, approval and lawful publication.
Passed first reading by the City Commission January 18, 1939.
Passed second reading by the City Commission January 18, 1939.
Passed third reading and finally passed and adopted by the City Commission
12 January 25, 1939.
