That there is hereby created a pedestrian lane runnin^ North !end SouiA between the sidewalks on and across Front Street in Port '-ngeles, "ashington, between Laurel and Lincoln atreet, Said pedestrian lane is ten (10) feet in width, the center line of 'ah.ich is two hundred twenty -five (225) feet easterly of the east margin of Laurel street on said .ront btreet and extends from the South curb line of Front btreet to the North curb line of said Front :street. Section 2. Pedestrians using said pedestrian lane in crossing said Front .treet shall have the ri__ht of way over vehicles travel* on Front Street, and vehicles shall atop and give sad right of way to all pedestrians •rithin said lane. Section 3. No person shall park. any car or otherwise create eny obstruction of said pedestrian lane. Section L. Petweers the hours of eight a.m. and six p.m., all motor vehicles traveling through the alleys between Lincoln and Oak Streets, and whi ch alleys are located between I ron.t and ici rst streets, shall travel in a —esterly direction. Any person violating any provision of this ordi- nance, upon conviction thereof, shall be deemed guilty of a misdeamenor and shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed '`100.00, or by im- ,risonment in the City Jail for a period of not to exceed thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section 6. That all ordinances in conflict herewith shall be repealed. Section 7. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty days after its approval and lawful publication.
