AN ORDINANCE vacating the plat of Virginia Park and Terrace,
an addition to the City of Port Angeles.
WHEREAS, there has been filed a petition signed by all of
the owners of the property within the plat hereinafter described,
praying for the vacation of all roads, streets and alleys within said
plat, and
WHEREAS, a hearing has been had on a date fixed by the City
Commission, to -wit, on March 27th, 1946, and the Commission has con-
sidered the advisablity and desirability of vacating said plat, and no
objections having been made by any persons to the vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AID CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES:
Section 1. That the following described plat and addition to
the City, described as
Plat of Virginia Park and Terrace, being a sub-
division in lots and blocks of ten -acre tract
No. 12, Government Townsite Reservation, together
with all streets and alleys shown on said plat,
with the exception of Second Street and that portion
of First Street used by the State of Washington for
highway purposes,
be and the same is vacated.
Section 2. The City of Port Angeles specifically reserves
the right to go in and upon the portions of the streets and alleys
within said addition herein vacated, for the purpose of erecting
utilitys poles, laying sewers, or establishing any other public
utilities which it may determine necessary on said alleys and streets,
with the right of ingress and eggress for the purpose of constructing,
maintaining or removing said facilities.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, approval and law-
ful publication.
