ORDINANCE NO. /7 8
AN ORDINANCE relating to the use of the streets of the
City of Port Angeles, designating arterial streets, repealing Section
5 of Ordinance No.1087, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following parts or streeti within the
City of Port Angeles are hereby designated as arterial streets,
to -wit:
(a) First Street from the easterly City limits to the
westerly edge of Valley Street.
(b) Front Street from the easterly boundary of Race
Street to the westerly boundary of Oak Street.
(c) Lincoln Street from Railroad Avenue to the
southerly boundary of the City.
(d) Marine Drive from Valley Street westerly to B Street.
(e) Eighth Street from Race Street to C Street.
(f) C Street from Lauridsen Boulevard to Eighth Street.
(g) Fifth Street from B Street to M Street.
(h)• Race Street from the -south margin of First Street to
Lauridsen Boulevard.
(i) Peabody Street from the south margin of First Street
Lauridsen Boulevard.
(j) Cherry Street from the north margin of Third Street
the north margin of Eighth Street.
(k) Eunice Street from the south margin of Eighth Street
to Lauridsen Boulevard.
Section 2. That Section 5 of Ordinance No.1087 be and
the same is hereby repealed.

Section 3. That there is urgent necessity and emergency
for the passage and adoption and taking effect of this ordinance
for fhe immediate preservation of the public peace and safety,
which urgency and emergency is now hereby stated and declared.
Therefore, this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after and immediately upon its passage, approval and
lawful publication.
