HomeMy WebLinkAbout1266ORDINANCE NO. I 46 AN ORDINANCE vacating a portion of a certain alley running through Block Three Hundred Thirty -five (335) of the Townsite of Port Angeles. WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles praying for the vacation of a portion of a certain alley hereinafter described, which petition has been 11 signed by more than two - thirds of the owners of the property abutting upon such alley; and WHEREAS, said City Commission did, on the 15th day of Octo- ber, 1951, by appropriate resolution, fix Monday, the 5th day of November, 1951, at the hour of ten o'clock A.M., at the City 1Commission room in the City of Port Angeles, as the time and place for hearing upon said petition; and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of the hearing upon such resolution has been given as provided by law, and said hearing has been held, and no objections or protests to said vacation have been received by the City Commission or offered by any person, and said City Commission has determined that the prayer of said petition should be granted and a portion of such alley should be vacated; now, therefore, THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES ORDAIN, as follows: Section 1. That the following described alley in the City of Port Angeles be, and the same is hereby, vacated, to wit: (That certain alley running through Block Three Hundred Thirty -five (335) of the Townsite of Port Angeles, from the West line of Lots Five (5) and Fourteen (14) in said block East to Race Street in said City. • • • Section 2.
