ORDINANCE NO. P-/ 77
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles vacating portions
of an alley in Block 264, Townsite of Port Angeles.
WHEREAS, a petition is on file signed by the owners of
,Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of Block 264, Townsite of Port
Angeles, for a vacation of the alley abutting said property; and
WHEREAS, a hearing has been held in accordance with law
on the question of vacating said portion of said alley; now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN as
follows:
Section 1. The alley in Block 264 of the Townsite of Port
Angeles abutting on Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 is hereby
vacated.
Section 2. The City of Port Angeles reserves an easement
in said alley and the right to exercise and grant easements in
respect to the vacated land for the construction and maintenance
of public utilities and services.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles and
approved by its Mayor at a regular meeting of the Council held on
the 19th day of October, 1961.
