AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of Port
Angeles declaring an emergency and making appropria-
tions to the 1963 budget.
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1963 budget,
certain matters were not in the contemplation of the City Council,
and the necessary expenditure for certain required items was under-
estimated; and
WHEREAS, there is on hand unappropriated cash in the Current
;Expense Fund which is available for appropriation to various budget:
items; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ANGELES, as follows:
Section 1. There is transferred from unappropriated cash
in the Current Expense Fund the following amounts to the following
budget divisions:
$1,519.90 to City Manager's Department for the necessary costs of
hiring a City Manager;
$448.87 to General Administration for increased costs of the
State Audit Report;
$1,694.03 to the Fire Department for the purchase of a necessary
fire alarm unit.
Section 2. That it is in the best interests of the City
that the above transfers and appropriations be made.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles and
approved by its Mayor at a regular meeting of the Council held on
this day of February, 1964.
