ORDINANCE NO. /1,5'/I
AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of Port
Angeles declaring an emergency and making an appro-
priation to the Park and Recreation Department L.I.D.
Assessment Fund.
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1964 budget the
amount of savings that could be effected by advance payment of the
assessments for Local Improvement Districts No. 180 and 167 were
not known; and
WHEREAS, the assessment for Local Improvement Districts No
180 and 167 against property under the control of the Park and
,Recreation Department is in the amount of $12,469.32; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Department has on hand
$12,469.32, which was not included in the unexpended cash balance
fund in the 1964 budget, and there are not sufficient funds in the
Park and Recreation Department Account L.I.D. Assessments to pay
in full the sum due to L.I.D.'s 180 and 167 in order to save future
interest charges; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the L.I.D. Assessment Fund
"for the Park and Recreation Department; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ANGELES, as follows:
Section 1. There is transferred from Unexpended Cash in
the Park and Recreation Department the sum of $12,649.74 to the
budget item L. I. D. Assessments, Park and Recreation Department.
Section 2. That it is in the best interests of the City
that the above transfers and appropriations be made.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles and
'approved by its Mayor at a regular meeting of the Council held on
