AN ORDINANCE establishing and setting salaries of
certain officers and officials of the City of
Port Angeles and providing for the payment there-
of.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES,
, as follows:
Section 1. That as of January 1, 1971, the monthly salaries of
the following listed officers and officials of the City of Port Angeles
will be as follows:
Mayor $ 50.00
Councilman 25.00
City Manager 1,750.00
Personnel Director 795.00
Manager's Secretary 535.00
City Attorney 650.00
Light Superintendent 1,325.00
Light Distribution Engineer 1,075.00
Light Engineer Aide 735.00
Director of Public Works 1,325.00
Assist. Dir. of Public Works 1,045.00
Building Inspector 875.00
Assistant City Engineer 795.00
Water Superintendent 875.00
Sewer Treatment Plant Supt. 875.00

At the discretion of the City Manager and City Council, a new re -,
view date of 3, 6 or 9 months may be applied to any of the above salaries.'
Section 2. All such salaries and compensation shall be paid in
twenty -four installments, such installments to be as nearly equal as the
established accounting procedure of the City of Port Angeles shall permit,
and shall be paid on the fifth and twentieth days of each month during
the year 1971, or as soon thereafter as the established accounting pro-
cedures of the City shall permit.
Section 3. Effective July 1, 1971 the City shall pay five dollar
and fifty cents ($5.50) per month on the above listed employees dependent
coverage under the Medical Plan for those who include their dependent(s)
under the City's Medical Plan.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles and ap-

proved by its Mayor at a regular meeting of the Council held on the nth
day of April, 1971.
