BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES, as follows: Section 1. Work in excess of forty (40) hours per week or eight (8) hours per day will be paid for at the rate of time and one -half in the following departments: Finance Library Sanitation Street Park & Recreation Water Engineers Cemetery Sewer Employees will be reviewed after being in each step one year. A written review shall be made of each employee by his Department Head whenever he is eligible for advancement. If an increase is not recom- mended, the reasons shall be discussed with the City Manager. If he concurs with the Department Head, the decision must be discussed with the employee who should be told of his next review date. Decisions can also be reviewed by the employee with the City Manager upon written re- quest of the employee. At the discretion of the Department Head and Manager, a new re- view date of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months may be designated when an increase is refused. Section 3. All compensation and wages shall be paid in twenty - four installments, such installments to be as nearly equal as the es- tablished accounting procedures of the City of Port Angeles shall permit, and shall be paid on the fifth and twentieth days of each month during the year 1973, or as soon thereafter as the established accounting pro- cedures of the City of Port Angeles shall permit.
