HomeMy WebLinkAbout1897ORDINANCE NO. 1897 AN ORDINANCE approving and adopting the budget for the City of Port Angeles for the fiscal year 1977. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. That the budget for the City of Port Angeles for the year 1977, as prepared by the City Manager of said City, and finally amended, fixed and determined as to every item by the City Council after Public Hearing having been held on Monday, December 6, 1976, and notice of said hearing having been given and published in the manner provided by law, it is hereby adopted, approved and con- firmed. Section 2. That the following is a summary of the totals of estimated revenues and appropriations for each separate fund and the aggregate total for all such funds combined. There is hereby created a special fund entitled "Federal Shared Revenue: Title II ", to be established in the office of the City Treasurer and into which shall be deposited monies received under the Public Works Employment Act of 1976, Anti - Recession Assistance, Title II, Public Law 94-369. Section 4. The budget referred to in Section 1 above is on file in the office of the City Clerk at the City Hall, 140 West Front Street in Port Angeles, Washington, and is adopted by reference. Section 5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a complete copy of the final budget as adopted by this ordinance to the Division of Municipal Corporations in the office of the State Auditor and to the Association of Washington Cities. Section 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles and approved by its Mayor at a regular meeting of the Council held on the 15th day of December, 1976.
