AN ORDINANCE annexing Block 2 of Cooper's Addition and
a portion of vacated Leiser's Addition to the south
end of Pine Hill.
WHEREAS, the necessary petition has been filed with the City of
Port Angeles requesting annexation of the following described real property
to the City of Port Angeles which is contiguous to said City; and
WHEREAS the necessary legal steps in connection with said peti-
tion have been completed including the holding of a public hearing on said
petition after due and legal notice thereof; and
WHEREAS the Council of the City of Port Angeles believes that it
is in the best interests of the City and its residents that said petition
for annexation be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
do ordain as follows:
The following described real property located in Clallam County:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Block 2, Cooper's
Addition to Port Angeles: thence south 2 °52'43" west
along the east line of said Block 2 to the north
right of way line of U.S. 101, thence westerly
along said highway right of way to the west line of
Block 2, Cooper's Addition produced southerly,
thence north 2 032'47" east to the south right of way
line of Lauridsen Boulevard, thence easterly along
the south right of way line of Lauridsen Boulevard
to the point of beginning, all in Section 9, Town-
ship 30 North Range 6, situated in Clallam County,
Washington.
which shall bear the outstanding indebtedness of the City contracted prior
to or existing at the date of this Ordinance, and which is zoned Residential
Single Family, 9000 sq. ft. (RS -9), annexed to the City of Port Angeles
as of the date of the publication of this Ordinance.

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles and
approved by its Mayor at a regular meeting of the Council held on the
5th day of January, 1977.
