AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
vacating an alley north of Civic Field.
WHEREAS, a petition is on file with the City of Port
Angeles to vacate the alley in Block 2, Doyle's Subidivision; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of RCW Chapter 43.21C, the
State Environmental Policy Act, have been met and a public hearing
has been held by the City Council following public notice pursuant
to RCW Chapter 35.79; and
WHEREAS, said vacation appears to be of benefit to and in
the interest of the public;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT ANGELES as follows:
Section 1. The alley in Block 2, Doyle's Subdivision,
as recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, page 50, records of Clallam
County, Washington is hereby vacated.
Section 2. Upon the request for and furnishing of a
quitclaim deed by any owner of property abutting upon the vacated
portion of said a:lley:, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby auth-
orized and directed to execute such quitclaim deed.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a
certified copy of this ordinance with the Auditor of Clallam County.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at
a regular meeting of the Council held on the 24th day of August,
1977, and signed in authentication of its passage this /414e day
