AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
vacating a portion of Liberty Street.
WHEREAS, a petition is on file with the City of Port
Angeles to vacate the westerly five(5) feet of Liberty Street
from First Street south to the northerly margin of the First/
Second alley; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of RCW Chapter 43.21C, the
State Environmental Policy Act, have been met and public hearing
as been held by the City Council following public notice pursuant
o RCW Chapter 35.79; and
WHEREAS, said vacation appears to be of benefit to and in
e interest of the public;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT ANGELES as follows:
Section 1. That portion of Liberty Street
escribed below is hereby vacated:
The westerly five(5) feet of Liberty Street abutting Lot
1, Block 2, London Park Subdivision, Townsite of Port
Angeles.
Said vacation to become effective upon the payment of $ 9 .go.�U
as compensation for said vacated portion of said street.
Section 2. Upon the request for and furnishing of a
quit claim deed by any owner of property abutting upon the vacated
ortion of said street, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby auth-
orized and directed to execute such quit claim deed.

Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a
certified copy of this ordinance with the Auditor of Clallam County.
