ORDINANCE NO. /97
AN ORDINANCE amending the 1978 Revenue Sharing
Budget to re- allocate funds to the Municipal
Civic Field Project.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles has obtained funds
for re- construction of Civic Field;
AND .WHEREAS, the awarded construction contract exceeded
funds available by $217,000;
AND WHEREAS, the City desires to re- prioritize the City
Revenue Sharing Budget to allocate funds to the Civic Field
Project;
AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
has held both public proposed use and budget hearings as re-
quired by the Revenue Sharing Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of
the City of Port Angeles, that the 1978 Revenue Sharing Budget is
amended as follows:

,(I) Funds Previously Encumbered:
(a) Government Complex $120,000 $120,000
(b) Remodeling, Sr. Citizens Center 7,000 Zoo
(c) Matching funds for Civic Pier
or Corporation Yard 186,632 -0-
(d) Conversion of Owens Bros. Dock 30,000 -0-
(II) Application of 1978 Revenues:
(a) Administrative Expense 1,350 982
(b) 2nd Installment, CPR Dock 35,000 35,000
(c) Wheelchair Ramps, Corporation Yard 15,000 15,000
(d) Data Processing Equipment 180,000 180,000
(e) White's Creek Bridge 50,000 50,000
(f) Unencumbered Balance 650 650
(g) 1978 Allocation to Civic Field -0- 217,000
TOTAL FUNDS 625,632 625,632
This measure is deemed necessary in the public interest
and could not have been reasonably forseeable at the time of
adoption of the regular City budget.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
at a regular meeting of the Council held on the 18th day of April,
1978.
