ORDINANCE NO. /9 94 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1895, the Ordinance rezoning a portion of the harbor area in the City of Port Angeles from M -2 Industrial to CBD Commercial Zone. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Port Angeles has held a public hearing on the matter and recommended to the City Council that the portion of the harbor area herein- after described be rezoned from M -2 Industrial to CBD Commercial Zone; and WHEREAS, the City Council did pass Ordinance No. 1895 rezoning a portion of the harbor area, and WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 1895 contained an error in the legal description which error consisted of the listing of lots 1, 2, 3, & 4, whereas the intention was to list lots 6, 7, 8, & 9, of Block 2; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to correct said error, and WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act have been met, and WHEREAS, the City Council after a public hearing finds that said rezone would be in the best interests of the City and of its citizens and in keeping with the Comprehensive Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: The legal description in Ordinance No. 1895 heretofore reading as follows: "The harbor area lying in front of Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, west of Laurel Street, Port Angeles Tidelands, lying between the outer harbor line and a line running North 66° 41' West from a point on the northwesterly line of Oak Street, said point also being a point on the inner harbor line which is North 31° 15' East 210.90 feet from the most easterly corner of said Lot 1; also the harbor areas lying in front of Oak Street; in front of Block 1, west of Laurel Street, Port Angeles Tidelands; in front of Laurel Street; in front of Block 1, east of Laurel Street Port Angeles Tidelands; in front of Lincoln Street; and in front of Lots 1, 2, 3, & 4, Block 2, East of Laurel Street, Port Angeles Tidelands and bounded by Railroad Avenue on the south" • is herewith amended to read as follows: "The harbor area lying in front of Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, west of Laurel Street, Port Angeles Tidelands, lying between the outer harbor line and a line running North 66° 41' West from a point on the northwesterly line of Oak Street, said point also being a point on the inner harbor line which is North 31° 15' East 210.90 feet from the most easterly corner of said Lot 1; also the harbor areas lying in front of Oak Street; in front of Block 1, west of Laurel Street, Port Angeles Tidelands; in front of Laurel Street; in front of Block 1, east of ' Laurel Street, Port Angeles Tidelands; in front of Lincoln Street; and in front of Lots 6, 7, 8, & 9, Block 2, East of Laurel Street, Port Angeles Tidelands and bounded by Railroad Avenue on the South. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at a regular meeting of the Council held on the 19th day of September, 1978.
