AN ORDINANCE establishing a position classification
and pay plan for the Fire Department employees
and providing for the payment thereof for the
year 1980.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ANGELES, as follows:
Section 1. The following position classification and
pay plan for the Fire Department employees is hereby adopted
effective January 1, 1980. Pursuant to Article X of the Interna-
tional Firefighters Local Union No. 656 Agreement, a midyear
adjustment will be made on July 1, 1980.

Section 2. All compensation and wages shall be paid in
such installments to be as nearly equal as the established account-
ing procedure of the City of Port Angeles will permit, and shall
be paid within five working days after the close of the establish-
ed payroll period for each month during the year, or as soon
thereafter as the established accounting procedure of the City of
Port Angeles will permit, except that the last installment shall
be paid on the last working day of December 1980.
