ORDINANCE NO.' X079
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
vacating the alley in Block 20,
Pennsylvania Park Addition to the
Townsite of Port Angeles.
WHEREAS, a petition is on file with the City of Port
Angeles to vacate the alley in Block 20, Pennsylvania Park Addi-
tion to the Townsite of Port Angeles; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of Chapter 43.21C RCW, the
State Environmental Policy Act, have been met and a public hearing
has been held by the City Council following public notice, pursuant
to Chapter 35.79 RCW; and
WHEREAS, said vacation appears to be of benefit to and in
the interests of the public;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT ANGELES as follows:
Section 1. The alley in Block 20, Pennsylvania Park Ad-
dition to the Townsite of Port Angeles is hereby vacated; provided
that no buildings shall occur on the vacated portion.
Section 2. Upon the request for and furnishing of a quit
claim deed by any owner of property abutting upon the vacated alley
the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such quit
claim deed.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a
certified copy of this Ordinance with the Auditor of Clallam County
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at
a regular meeting of the Council held on the 20th day of May, 1980.
