BACKGROUND /ANALYSIS The City Council has made an on -going commitment to residential weatheri- zation in the City of Port Angeles. As part of that commitment, it is necessary for the City to sign various documents such as contracts, loan documents, satisfaction of mortgage, etc. All such documents would be between the City and contractors or the City and City Light customers. The attached ordinance authorizes the Director of City Light, Conserva- tion Manager, Director of Administrative Services, and Financial Services Manager to sign documents on the City's behalf. Currently the average City weatherization loan is approximately $1,200. RECOMMENDATION We recommend that the Council adopt the attached ordinance. .
