HomeMy WebLinkAbout2546ORDINANCE NO. 2546 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles rezoning property located at 411 South Peabody Street from RMF to OC and amending the City's Official Zoning Map, Ordinance 2158, and Ordinance 1709. WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles has received an application for a rezone of property located at 411 South Peabody Street from Residential Multi- Family (RMF) to Office Commercial (OC); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Port Angeles has held a public hearing on said rezone application and recorded its recommendation to the City Council in the Planning Commission minutes of September 13, 1989; and WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act have been met; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing, finds that said rezone would be in the best interests of the City and of its citizens and in keeping with the Comprehensive Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES as follows: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Ordinance 2158, and Ordinance No. 1709, are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following described property from Residential Multi - Family (RMF), to Office Commercial (OC): The south 45 feet of Lots 6, 7, 8 and 9, Block 171, Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington. Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attach a copy of this Ordinance to the Official Zoning Map, Ordinance No. -1- 2158, and to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Clallam County Auditor. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 3rd day of October, 1989. ATTEST: ichelle M.
