AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
rezoning property located north of
Lindberg Road and west of DelGuzzi
Drive from RS -9, Single - Family Residential,
to RMF, Residential Multi- Family.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Port
Angeles has held a public hearing and recorded its recommendation
to the City Council in the Planning Commission Minutes of November
20, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental
Policy Act (Chapter 43.21C RCW) have been met; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing, finds
that said rezone would be consistent with the changes in
circumstances since the area was originally zoned; would be in the
best interest of the City and of its citizens; and would be
consistent with the Comprehensive Plan; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ANGELES as follows:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No. 2158)
and Ordinance No. 1709 are hereby amended to change the zoning of
the following described property from RS -9, Single- Family
Residential, to RMF, Residential Multi- Family:
Lots 7 through 10, inclusive, Block 3, Lawrence's
Second Addition to Port Angeles, including the
north half of vacated John Street.
Section 2 - Conditions. This rezone is granted, subject
to the following conditions:
A. The maximum number of dwelling units be limited to six
(6) .
B. Site access and drainage shall be approved by the Public
Works Department prior to development.
C. Construction shall commence within five (5) years and be
completed within six (6) years from the date of final

approval.
D. Noncompliance with any of the above conditions (A -C)
shall cause the zoning of the property to revert back to
its original RS -9, Single- Family Residential
designation.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attach
a copy of this Ordinance to the Official Zoning Map and to file a
certified copy of this Ordinance with the Clallam County Auditor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective five
(5) days after the date of publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 7th day of
January , 19 92 .

This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles rezones property located north of
Lindberg Road and west of DelGuzzi Drive from RS -9, Single - Family Residential,
to RMF, Residential Multi- Family, subject to the following conditions: (a) The
maximum number of dwelling units be limited to six (6); (b) site access and
drainage shall be approved by the Public Works Department prior to development;
(c) Construction shall commence within five (5) years and be completed within six
(6) years from the date of fmal approval; and (d) Noncompliance with any of the
above conditions (a -c) shall cause the zoning of the property to revert back to its
original RS -9, Single- Family Residential designation. The property is legally
described as: Lots 7 through 10, inclusive, Block 3, Lawrence's Second Addition
to Port Angeles, including the north half of vacated John Street.

mailed upon request. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Ordinance will take effect five (5) days after publication of this summary.
