HomeMy WebLinkAbout2676ORDINANCE NO. 2676 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles rezoning property located between Chase and Peabody Streets and between Fifth and Eighth Streets, from RMF, Residential Multi - Family, to OC, Office Commercial and PBP, Public Buildings and Parks, and from CSD-Cl to PBP, Public Buildings and Parks. WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Port Angeles has held a public hearing and recorded its recommendation to the City Council in the Planning Commission Minutes of February 12, 1992; and WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act (Chapter 43.21C RCW) have been met; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing, finds that said rezone would be consistent with the changes in circumstances since the area was originally zoned; would be in the best interest of the City and of its citizens; and would be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES as follows: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No. 2158) and Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following described property from RMF, Residential Multi- Family, to OC, Office Commercial: Lots 1 -15, Block 202; All of Block 199; Lots 8 and 9, Block 198; Lots 8, 9, 10 and 11, Block 203; Lots 5 -9, Block 229; and Lots 8 and 9, Block 228, Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington. Section 2. The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No. 2158) and Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following described property from RMF and CSD-Cl to PBP: Lots 1 through 4 and 15 through 17, Block 229, Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam -1- County, Washington. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attach a copy of this Ordinance to the Official Zoning Map and to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Clallam County Auditor. Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective five (5) days after the date of publication. Ordinance No. 2677 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles rezones property located in the Airport Industrial Park on West 16th Street, from LI, Light Industrial, to PBP, Public Buildings and Parks. The subject property is legally described as Lot 26 of the Airport Industrial Park and a tract of land described as follows: Beginning at a point which is the Northeast corner of Suburban Lot 119, Townsite of Port Angeles; thence North 58 °39' West a distance of three hundred (300) feet; thence South 58°39' East a distance of two hundred and thirty (230) feet; thence North 31°21' East a distance of three hundred (300) feet to the point of beginning, in the Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington. Ordinance No. 2680 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles amends the City's Civil Service Ordinance and Chapter 2.22 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code, and provides for the discretionary waiver of the probationary period for those employees transferring employment from other law enforcement agencies.
