HomeMy WebLinkAbout2705ORDINANCE NO. 2705 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles rezoning property located on Newell Road from LI, Light Industrial, to RS -9, Residential Single- Family. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Port Angeles has held a public hearing and recorded its recommendation to the City Council in the Planning Commission minutes of August 12, 1992; and WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act (Chapter 43.21C RCW) have been met; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing, finds that said rezone would be consistent with the changes in circumstances since the area was originally zoned; would be in the best interest of the City and of its citizens; and would be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES as follows: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No. 2158) and Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following described property from LI, Light Industrial, to RS -9, Residential Single- Family: The east 300 feet of the northerly 138 feet of Block 7, Croft's Addition, and Lot 4 of Short Plat No. 82 -9 -2, recorded on December, 30, 1982, all in Clallam County, Washington. Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attach a copy of this Ordinance to the Official Zoning Map and to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Clallam County Auditor. Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective five (5) days after the date of publication. This surcharge will be levied effective November 1, 1992. The industrial transmission rate class surcharge will be imposed early in 1993. This Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after the date of publication of this summary. Ordinance No. 2705 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles rezones property located on Newell Road, legally described as the east 300 feet of the northerly 138 feet of Block 7, Croft's Addition, and Lot 4 of Short Plat No. 82 -9 -2, recorded on December 30, 1982, all in Clallam County, Washington, from LI, Light Industrial, to RS -9, Residential Single- Family. This Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after the date of publication of this summary. Ordinance No. 2706 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles establishes speed limits on certain public streets in the City, amends Section 22 of Ordinance 1310, as most recently amended by Ordinance 2268, repeals Ordinance 1541, Ordinance 1660 and Ordinance 2239, and amends Chapter 10.16 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. The speed limits established are: 15 miles per hour on Second Street from the east margin of Lincoln Street to the east margin of Chase Street; 20 miles per hour on Del Guzzi Drive from the south margin of SR 101 to the north margin of Lindberg Road; 35 miles per hour on Golf Course Road from the south margin of First Street to the north margin of Lindberg Road, and "L" Street from the south margin of 18th Street to the north margin of Lauridsen Boulevard; and 40 miles per hour on the Tumwater Truck Route from the south margin of Marine Drive to the north margin of SR 101. This Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after publication of this summary or after approval by the Secretary of Transportation, whichever is later. Ordinance No. 2707 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles provides for annual notification to sewer ratepayers of the sewer rate and that portion of the user charges or ad valorem taxes which are attributable to wastewater treatment services. This Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after publication of this summary.
